Two More Groups Join Anti-U.S. Security Pact Coalition

Two additional Iraqi factions, the Army of Al Imam Ibn Hanbal and Naqshabandiya Army, joined the Iraqi insurgency coalition that was formed to oppose the U.S. security pact. The total number of groups involved in the campaign is now ten. The campaign was launched following an appeal launched by a top leader of the Sunni militant group of Ansar al Islam, Sheik Abu Wael, in an audiotape released on November 4th. Groups participating in the campaign pledged to escalate attacks against U.S. forces to disrupt the signing of the security agreement, which they described as "Disgraceful."
