Trailer mash-up: "The Lion King Rises"

YouTube mash-ups of movie trailers - especially those which promise ironic counterpoints - may be a dime a dozen, and as editing tools get ever easier, the price point will doubtless drop further.

But a new takeoff on the recently debuted "Dark Knight Rises" trailer smoothly and cleverly edits imagery from the Disney animation classic "The Lion King" with the audio of Bruce Wayne, Alfred the butler, the villain Bane and Selina Kyle/Catwoman.

So a tip o' the hat to Brad Hansen, an L.A.-based editor/director who posted his parody on YouTube.
