Tony Parker's Charmed Life
you've probably heard of Tony Parker.
Hoops afficianados, like myself, know him for his winning exploits as part of the 2007 NBA champion San Antonio Spurs, with whom he recently picked up his third championship ring in only five years. Lots of other folks know Tony for a different kind of ring – the engagement ring he bestowed upon "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria.
Tony stopped by our plaza on Monday to chat about his whirlwind summer, which includes his July 7 wedding in France.
Right before we went on the air, I was messing around with a basketball. It made my Early Show co-host Harry Smith really nervous – he thought I was going to knock over the NBA finals MVP trophy Tony brought with him!
After our interview, I asked Tony how the two busy stars manage to carve out time for each other. He told me that they're together every weekend when Eva's done filming episodes for the week. He also pointed out that her family is from the San Antonio area, where he plays basketball. So they plan on living there one day.
