(CBS/AP) WINNIPEG - A Winnipeg woman is facing weapons-related charges after her 2-year-old got his hands on a can of bear spray, and sprayed his baby brother.

Toddler and infant both had to be treated at a hospital.

Police say officers responded to a call Tuesday night and found a two-month-old who had been sprayed. The child's two-year-old sibling had found the bear spray in a bedroom and was also suffering from its effects.

Both youngsters have been released from the hospital. Their mother, a 36-year-old Winnipeg woman, faces four weapons-related counts. She was in custody.

Even so, it seems better to have bear spray in your bedroom, than a bear.
