'Tis The Season, Part Deux
Yesterday, we blogged about some overzealous tree haters in Seattle. Apparently, the spirit of the season has prevailed. The trees are coming back.
Seattle Rabbi Bogomilsky was behind the protest that led to the trees' removal. According to the AP:
Bogomilsky said he was appalled by the airport's decision to remove the trees. So deck the halls. And the terminals. And the gates. And the TSA workers. Deck the wands!"Our goal was to include a menorah in the airport as well so that we could bring extra light with Hannukah's universal message of hope," Bogomilsky wrote Monday on behalf of his organization, Chabad of Greater Seattle. "Our discussion of possible legal action was never about removing Christmas trees — it was about protecting the right to add menorahs."
