Tiffany's in No. Calif. target of smash-and-grab robbery with pickup truck
The suspects backed a stolen Ford F250 through the front doors of the store, then smashed a single display case as passers-by watched, said Walnut Creek police Lt. Steve Gorski.
"All the high-end jewelry, the expensive jewelry is all locked up in safes in the back. They didn't get anywhere near those. They just made entry to one display case, that's all they had time for," Gorski said.
They left the truck behind and fled in another vehicle.
