"Watching the Watchers" is the name English-speaking jihadis have given to their project aimed at keeping an eye on those monitoring their online activities in the forums. "Brothers and sisters, in this thread we will put together any information about those who claim they are monitoring and watching the jihadi websites," said the webmaster of the prominent al Ekhlaas website who indentifies himself as Motamaen. "Monitoring gangs spend all day surfing here without knowing one word in Arabic, like the Doogie Howser of terror Kohlman," he stated.

Many forum members responded by posting information about organizations such the SITE intelligence group and the NEFA foundation as well as information and pictures of people who monitor the the jihadi websites like Ben Venzke, Laura Mansfield, and Evan Kohlmann.
