"The Hunger Games": Katniss meets Cinna in new clip

(CBS News) A new clip from "The Hunger Games" has been released, and it shows heroine Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) meeting another important character - her lead stylist, Cinna, played by rocker Lenny Kravitz - for the first time.

Fans of the book know that Cinna not only helps Katniss look her best, but he's also a kind, supportive and trusted confidant.

In the scene, the two introduce themselves and Cinna expresses his sympathies to Katniss over her fate (she is among the "tributes" who must fight to the death in the battle of the book-to-film's title).

"Most people just congratulate me," Katniss tells him.

He replies, "Well, I don't see the point in that."

"The Hunger Games" opens in theaters on March 23. Watch the clip below:
