"The Fountain Lady" Scenario
Imagine, if you will, you're at the mall because that is where you work. You're texting while walking and, from out of nowhere - BAM! - you fall into a water fountain. Unfortunately for you, the whole incident was caught on tape, that footage gets released on Youtube and goes viral instantly. Lucky for you, there is no way anyone could make out who you are, the video just isn't clear enough. Now that you've been spared the public humiliation you dreaded, what do you do?
Well, if you're Cathy Cruz Marrero (aka "The Fountain Lady"), you grab a lawyer and go on national television. Why? More than likely, you feel you can turn this whole fiasco into some sort of financial settlement in your favor. But, if you are truly like Ms. Marrero, you might want to hang on to that lawyer.
