The Days and Darts of Murphy Brown

After 10 seasons, Murphy Brown, the award-winning comedy series starring Candice Bergen, will have its final broadcast on Monday, May 18 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT). Guest starring in the special one-hour series finale are Julia Roberts, Bette Midler, George Clooney, Mike Wallace, Alan King, Robert Pastorelli, Pat Corley and Frances Bergen (Candice Bergen's real-life mom).

Each week during these past 10 seasons, Murphy has shared her office with, among other things, her infamous dartboard. You could safely assume that whatever slogan or object appeared on the dartboard absolutely infuriated the brash Murphy Brown. Some of the more amusing -- and timely -- slogans and objects that became Murphy's target:

"Have a Nice Day"
"Ramp Closed"
"Wait Here for Next Teller"
"I (heart) Orrin Hatch" bumper sticker
"Tow Away, Temporary No Parking 6 AM - 6 PM"
"Lot Full"
"How Am I Driving? Call 1-800-555-3825"
"No Change Without Purchase"
"Two Garments in Dressing Room Only"
"Carry On Baggage Must Fit Under Seat"
"We Welcome Your Suggestions"
"Honk If You Got a HUD Grant"
"NRA"
"Severe Tire Damage, Do Not Back Up"
"Check-out Time 11 AM"
"Breakfast Not Served After 11 AM"
"Parking for Customers Only"
"Exact Change Only"
"Lost Ticket Pays Maximum"
"Doctor Does Not Bill Insurance"
"Do Not Speak to Driver"
"Doctors Do Not Validate"
"No Free Gift Wrap"
"Assigned Parking Only"
"Hot Popcorn $3.50"
"This Dressing Room Under Surveillance"
"Geraldo Book Signing 2:00 PM"
"David Duke -- A New Kind of Republican"
"Reserved: John Sununu"
"Limit Two Trips to the Dessert Bar"
"Ask Us About Our Extended Warranty"
"Please Pay Before Pumping Gas"
"ATM - Out of Order"
"Don't Blame Me, I Voted for Perot"
"Santa Will Be Back in One Hour"
Garfield Doll
Mudflap with Naked Woman (truck ornament)
Broken Umbrella

There's only a few weeks left before the one-hour finale, so make sure you don't miss a minute of Murphy.
