T.I. slams Lil Wayne for Black Lives Matter comment

Rapper T.I. Harris is not impressed with his friend Lil Wayne’s recent comments on the Black Lives Matter movement.

Harris posted a NSFW diatribe on Instagram slamming Wayne for his comments last week on “Nightline,” during which he said that Black Lives Matter sounded “weird” and that it was clear black lives mattered because he is “young, black rich motherf***er.”

Harris was offended by the interview, especially because his children brought it to his attention.

“This is my son & daughter showing me this for the first time & asking me what you mean?” he wrote. “I’m at a complete loss of words here. Wayne I’ve known you over a decade. Our daughters grew up together practically.”

He chastised Wayne and said, “I KNOW you wired a bit different than most other responsible adults, but still n**** U TRIPPING!!!! I don’t know what you goin thru,or what you are attempting to avoid but this s*** is absolutely unacceptable!!!! You’re disrespecting yourself, bringing shame on your family name & tarnishing your legacy.”

Harris, who acted in the reboot of “Roots,” continued and even offered to help educate Wayne: “Our people are being oppressed!!! We are being hunted, captured & slaughtered out here daily!!! You have to get outta that bubble that you’ve been living in & get out here & educate yourself on what’s going on around US!!! I’m always here to share whatever knowledge or understanding I may have to assist your growth & development, but u MUST STOP this buffoonery.”

He advised Wayne that he’s willing to end their friendship if he won’t stand up for black people; he also added that Wayne should just say “no comment” in the future: “Stop embarrassing yourself & everyone out here who’s been supporting you,” he said.
