The meeting comes amid tensions between the U.S. and Russia over the handling of the situation in Syria. Russia is seen as a key player in Syria. The country has blocked two U.N. Security council resolutions. Just last week, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said Russia was continuing to send arms to Syria.
