"Survivor:" Mutiny Takes Out Rupert

Last week Hero Rupert Boneham was able to outwit the rest of the tribe with a fake hidden immunity idol, but this week he wasn't so lucky.

With a vote of 3-2 against him, Rupert said farewell to his chance of winning the million dollar grand prize and was voted off on Thursday night's episode of "Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains."

During the reward challenge, relatives of each Survivor paid a visit and also participated in the competition. The challenge was consistent to a relay and had the players throw water into buckets that their partners were holding. The team with the first bucket filled was declared the winner.

Jerri and her sister won the challenge. She brought along fellow villains, Parvati and Sandra, and their respected family members to join her on the reward. This made Russell feel like an outsider since he was afraid his alliance would turn against him.

For revenge, Russell attempted to flip over to the heroes' side and made a deal with Colby and Rupert to take them to the final three. The trio planned to vote off Parvati.

But soon after, their plan fell apart when Parvati won the immunity challenge.

The immunity challenged had the arms of each all-star stretched out, with a hollow pole balanced on the top of their hands. Any slight movement would cause the poles to fall.

Within a few minutes, everyone falls out of the competition leaving Parvati and Russell fighting for immunity. Parvati eventually wins and is guaranteed a spot in the final five, leaving the men vulnerable for elimination.

Feeling a little paranoid, Russell confronted Sandra after Rupert told him that she was planning on voting him off.

"Are you with me or are you against me?" he asked her in front of the rest of the tribe. Just to aggravate him, Sandra tells Russell she's against him. Russell then attempts to threaten her, but Sandra was left unphased.

Going into Tribal Council, it was still unclear who would tally the most votes, but the light was shining on Russell, Rupert and Sandra. After growing supcious during council and uneasy about the votes, Sandra played the hidden immunity idol she found last week.

"I would hate to go home with the idol in my bra," Sandra said.

Eventually, Rupert was left packing to be the next member of the jury after receiving three votes against him.

Thursday night's episode narrowed the competition to five contesants: Sandra, Parvati, Colby, Russell and Jerri. We'll see who will outwit, outplay, outlast and take home the million dollar prize on Sunday's two-hour season finale.
