"Suite" Life For Teen Stars Dylan And Cole

If don't know who Dylan and Cole Sprouse are, you're clearly over the age of 14.

The adorable 15-year-old twins star on the Disney Channel's hit sitcom "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody," and have been acting together since they were mere children (they in movies such as "Big Daddy," "The Astronauts Wife," and "Master of Disguise," and also starred in NBC's hit series "Friends" as David Schwimmer's son Ben Geller).

Now, the brothers have moved into another medium: the printed word. Their new series of books is called "47 R.O.N.I.N.," and the first episode was just released. The books are about - no surprise here - teenaged twins who discover that their father and their live-in butler belong to a secret underground agency, R.O.N.I.N. (Rogue Operatives Network Inter-National). Then their father goes missing and the boys try to find out what happened to him.

Dylan and Cole helped create the characters and write the stories and they enjoyed the experience. And since they had a say in things, they made sure the books were illustrated. "When I was little, when I would look through a book and not see a picture, I was generally sad," said Dylan.

Though they didn't do much reading when they were younger, something both say they now regret, they've been making up for it recently. Two favorites - stories about ninjas and books illustrated with Japanese anime.

"The Suite Life," which will start its third season next month, is about twin brothers who live in a swank Boston hotel where their mother is the headliner in a nightclub. The boys - Cole plays Cody and Dylan plays Zack -- get into constant mischief . Among their cohorts at the hotel is a comely candy clerk played by Ashley Tisdale of "High School Musical" fame.

The Sprouse boys are represented by Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen's company, DualStar, and like the Olsen twins before them, the Sprouse twins are ready to explore all avenues of revenue - besides the book series, there is a Sprouse brothers quarterly magazine, mobile phone content, an online fan club and clothing. Soon there will be a line of grooming products for young - very young - men.
