WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS/AP) Welcome to DWTS -- Dancing with the Scars!

A South Florida man named Michael Ireland claimed he was at a strip club, when he was severely injured by an exotic dancer's shoe. His lawyer says he has settled the case in Ireland's favor for $600,000.

Ain't that a kick in the head.

Ireland claimed in a deposition that the dancer was walking on the bar, felt someone touch her, and swung around. Lawyer Lake Lytal IIIl says the dancer's metal heel flew into Ireland's eye socket and shattered it, requiring extensive surgery.

Lytal says Ireland has had eye problems since the 2008 incident at the Cheetah Club in West Palm Beach.

He says the club's insurance company agreed earlier this month to pay Ireland for the injury.

The Cheetah Club wouldn't comment.

And we don't think there's really a moral to this story (but feel free to suggest one).
