(CBS) TARZANA -- The owners of a Tarzana, Calif., furniture store are asking for the public's help in finding the man they say they caught on tape breaking into their store and causing them up to $3,000 in damage, CBS Los Angeles reports.

Todd and Angie Maidy, who told CBS Los Angeles that they have not received much help from police since their store, Just Like Home, was broken into last Thursday night, have released the surveillance video that shows the suspect scoping out the store for valuables before taking off with a flat screen television.

"He took a concrete rock and smashed our front window. He climbed in and scoped out our place with flashlight, stole our company lap top, and stole a 47-inch television," said Angie Maidy.

The video shows the burglar break in and drive off three times within 15 minutes.

"It was incredibly upsetting, it's violating to have someone in your own private place," Todd Maidy said.

The couple said that this is the third burglary in the area in the past week. The Maidy's said that they're posting the suspect's picture everywhere, and that they want the person caught before another small business is robbed.

"It's a lot to a small company like us. We work really hard. We give everyone the bottom dollar pricing, so to have someone come in here and ransack us was overwhelming," said Angie.
