Shocking: 2x4 slams through car window on highway

(CBS) - This is possibly the most terrifying car accident ever recorded on tape. A woman was driving in South Carolina and, on a whim, decided to record the trucks driving ahead of her. One truck kicks up a 2x4 that, in the blink of an eye, almost leads to tragedy. Fortunately, no one was injured.

The video originally came out on April 1st, leading many to think the accident was faked. The automobile blog Jalopnik tracked down the driver, Wendy Cobb, and verified this was no prank. What it was is a dramatic reminder of how quickly accidents can happen on the road.
