There's rarely a dull moment when you get both Sánchez sisters in the same room. The two California Democratic congresswomen -- Linda and Loretta -- were at the National Press Club Monday promoting their new book when Loretta was asked why there were so many more Latinos representating California than Texas, which also has a large Latin population.

"Texans are confused" offered Linda. "Texans are Texans first, Americans second."

"I could get elected in Texas; I could be senator there," said Loretta. "But then I'd have to live there."
