Samurai sword flashed on Ariz. train discourages would-be brawl

Samurai Sword, generic
When someone on an Arizona train displayed a samurai sword similar to this one, it kept a simmering dispute from turning into an all-out brawl, according to police.
(CBS/AP) TEMPE, Ariz. - A man on a light rail train in Arizona had just the right technique to break up a brawl-in-the-making: He brandished a samurai sword.

Everyone go back to their seats, now.

KSAZ-TV reports that the man pulled out his weapon after a fight broke out early Saturday morning.

Passenger Juan Vargas says passengers all got quiet once the sword-wielding man got involved.

Valley Metro and Phoenix Police are investigating the case but no arrests have been made.
