Rachel Griffiths
Golden Globe-winning, Academy- and Emmy Award-nominated actress Rachel Griffiths stars in the ABC series "Brothers & Sisters" as Sarah Walker Whedon, a businesswoman and a mother of two who tries to do it all - and sometimes finds that it's not the easiest balancing act to pull off.
The 38-year-old Australian actress co-stars with Sally Field and Calista Flockhart in "Brothers & Sisters."
Griffiths is also widely recognized for her role as Brenda Chenowith in HBO's "Six Feet Under," as well as her performance in the films "Hilary and Jackie," "Muriel's Wedding" and "My Best Friend's Wedding."
In 2002, Griffiths married Australian artist Andrew Taylor in Melbourne. They have two children, son Banjo Patrick, born in November 2003 in Melbourne, and daughter Adelaide Rose, born in Los Angeles in June 2005. Her second pregnancy was incorporated into the script of the final season of "Six Feet Under."
