President Obama's Schedule Today

President Obama will meet with a roundtable of business leaders to discuss cutting employer health care costs. Also, he and Vice President Biden will deliver remarks in honor of the National Association of Police Organization's Top Cops this afternoon.

Earlier in the day, the president will receive his daily and economic briefing and meet with senior advisers in the Oval Office.

Later in the afternoon, the president and the vice president will meet with General Raymond Odierno, Commanding General, Multi-National Force in Iraq, and U.S. Ambassador to Iraq Chris Hill. Mr. Obama and Biden will also meet with Secretary of Defense Robert Gates in the Oval Office. These meeting are closed press.

In the evening, the President and the First Lady will host an evening of poetry, music and the spoken word in the East Room. Here is more from the White House press office (all times Eastern).
