President Obama's Schedule Today (10/6/10)

In the morning, President Obama will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing and the Economic Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. Later, the president and the vice president will have lunch in the Private Dining Room.

In the afternoon, Mr. Obama will award the Medal of Honor to Staff Sergeant Robert J. Miller, U.S. Army. Miller is being honored for conspicuous gallantry for his actions in Afghanistan on January 25, 2008.

Later, the president will meet with senior advisers in the Oval Office. He will then travel to Newark, New Jersey where he will attend a DNC fundraising dinner at a private residence in Cresskill, New Jersey.

In the evening, the president will return to the White House.
