Porno Images Look Like Kerrigan

Pornographic material doctored to resemble figure skater Nancy Kerrigan was yanked from the Internet as a Massachusetts judge prepared an order barring its display.

Kerrigan intends to sue World Wide Web site operator Marvista Computing Co. for invasion of privacy and defamation over the image the Los Angeles-based Internet company defended as "obviously fake" and meant for entertainment only.

An Essex Superior Court Peter Brady issued a temporary restraining order Friday against Marvista.

Kerrigan lawyer Victor Polk said the doctored photos which did not depict the figure skater were especially shocking because Kerrigan maintains a wholesome image.

"It is deeply pornographic. It is not Penthouse, it is not Playboy," Polk told the Boston Herald. "It's the kind of thing you don't want your wife to ever see."

Kerrigan was injured before the 1994 Olympics in an attack ordered by rival Tonya Harding's then-husband intended to enhance Harding's chances. Kerrigan recovered and won the silver medal, while Harding finished well back.
