Zip drive prices get zapped. Iomega has had the most popular portable storage solution for years with it's Zip drives. Now there's a new version and a new price. Iomega's Tim Johnson...

It is an internal drive that installs in just about any PC using the same interface used for a floppy drive or hard disk. Worried about taking your computer apart to put the Zip in? Iomega offers help in the form of a videotape...
"First and foremost with an internal drive is ease of installation. We've taken that to the level of a VHS tape to get the computer out of the CPU room and in front of the television set."
Iomega has been facing increasing competiton from the SuperDisk format drives and from rival SyQuest. Johnson says the huge installed base of Zip drives is an advantage...
"Its the Information Age and people want to share information. You want the convenience of taking your disk to a Kinko's, to any of these other places where you want to share it and be able to copy it and know that they're acceptable to it."
