Pilot Confirms Palin, But Unsure Of Her Name

DENVER - As news that Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) might select Alaska governor Sarah Palin as his running began trickling out at the Denver airport, Reps. Dennis Moore (D-Kan.) and Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) met it with a joint “huh?”

“How do you pronounce her name, Adam?” Moore asked Schiff, who wasn’t sure.

On the plane, the pilot interrupted the flight to inform the passengers that McCain had indeed selected the Alaska governor. “We don’t have confirmation on a name,” said the pilot.
