Paparazzi Choked and Arrested While Taking Pictures During the "Bachelor" Taping
The two paparazzi, Maximiliano Lopez, 28 and Eric Brogmus, 22 were arrested by L.A. officials on suspicion of misdemeanor battery and unlawful blocking of a sidewalk, reported the Los Angeles Times. They were cited and released Saturday and are expected to appear in court March 28.
The photographers were part of a group of paparazzi trying to get footage of the "Bachelor" participants attending the wedding.
The video seems to show a security guard choking one of the photographers, then taking the paparazzi to the ground. Other photographers are yelling at the security guards to stop. According to the L.A. Times, the security guards insisted the photographers be booked on a citizen's arrest.
Witnesses saw the violent choking, said the paper, and the L.A. County sheriff's office said they will certainly be looking into it.
According to x17online, ABC is denying involvement with measures the security guards took, as well as a senior Terranea executive who also denies Terranea's involvement.
