On eve of Fla. primary, wind in Romney's sails

The race for the Republican presidential nomination has changed course with every caucus and primary. On the eve of the GOP primary in Florida, it appears the winds are shifting again and filling the sails of Mitt Romney.

In a Suffolk University poll out today, Romney leads Newt Gingrich by 20 points -- 47 percent to 27. A new Quinnipiac poll shows a somewhat tighter race with Romney 14 points ahead -- 43 percent to 29.

But it's a long way from a week ago when the men were essentially tied in Florida. CBS News correspondents Jan Crawford and Dean Reynolds are with the campaigns and filed two reports as Romney tries to consolidate his gains and Gingrich tries to close the gap.
