Sorry about the lame joke, but this video is crazy - at least for a native Californian like myself.

A winter storm system kicked up waves on Lake Superior and, despite the cold weather, surfers took advantage in Duluth, Minn.

First of all, I didn't realize that lakes had surf and then there's just the question of why people in Minnesota even have surfboards.

But after seeing this video, I get it and I'm impressed Minnesota.
