(CBS/AP) DAYTON, Ohio - A man and woman in southwest Ohio have pleaded guilty to charges in connection to the case of a 3-year-old who authorities say was bound with duct tape, then recorded on a cellphone.

Charles J. Jones Jr., 27, pleaded guilty Monday to charges of abduction and child endangering. Twenty-two-year-old Sherry Allender pleaded guilty to complicity to commit abduction and complicity to commit child endangering. Other charges were dismissed after their pleas were entered before their scheduled trial.

The two were accused of binding Allender's daughter's hands, legs and feet in the Dayton area last April. Montgomery County prosecutor Mat Heck Jr. has said the girl was in obvious pain, screaming when the tape was torn off her mouth.

Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 6.
