Obama Speaking To Business Leaders
WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama is starting his week with a speech Monday to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, a group he has had sharp differences with the last two years.
Obama and the Chamber have disagreed over health care and financial regulations. But both sides are searching for common ground on job creation.
Obama has stressed his new economic agenda, featuring competitiveness, innovation, energy and entrepreneurship. His policies are no longer the targets of big-dollar advertising campaigns by the Chamber now that midterm elections are over.
