Obama And McCain Grapple, Nicely

The Obama-McCain handshake has been executed on the Senate floor. Smiles all around.

McCain walked in to the Senate chamber with Sens Martinez, Graham and Thune and made his way over to the Republican side of the chamber.

A minute after McCain entered the chamber, Obama purposefullly made his way to the Republican side shaking hands and exchanging a laugh with Graham. He then walked over and reached out to McCain. McCain shook Obama's hand but then continued to talk to Martinez and Lieberman.
