(CBS) NEW YORK- Cesar Lucas, a 16-year-old pizza delivery boy, has confessed to raping an Upper West Side New York City woman as her 7-year-old daughter slept in the bed beside her, the New York Daily News reports.

Lucas was delivering pizzas for Sal's Pizzeria on Saturday night to a customer on the 10th floor of an apartment building when he reportedly discovered the victim's unlocked door down the hallway. According to court papers, the Bronx teen confessed that he "went in because he was feeling horny and that he took advantage of her."

The alleged  rape occurred inside the little girl's bedroom.

"He goes through the building opening doors," said the victim, a modeling agent. "There I am with my daughter sleeping. And he rapes me with my daughter right next to me?"

Lucas was soon tracked down at Sal's Pizzeria on 10th Avenue. Lucas had somehow been able to keep his job after being arrested in August for robbing an apartment on another delivery run, the Daily News reported.

According to the newspaper, the 16-year-old was arraigned on Saturday night on charges of rape, burglary, sexual abuse, and endangering the welfare of a child. He is being charged as an adult and held without bail on Riker's Island.

The superintendent at Lucas' Bronx apartment described Lucas as a quiet and respectful kid from a good family.

"He looks like he's afraid of his own shadow," said Paul Aponte, "That's why this is shocking to say the least. He's not one of these guys who's out here all loud."
