"NYC Dark" is a surreal look at the city after Sandy
(CBS News) While Hurricane Sandy is over and recovery is well underway (though, with a nor'easter coming), your blogger here can attest to the surreal experience that was New York City in the aftermath of the storm. And the video above perfectly captures a lot of that experience.

In the aftermath versus the actual experience, it's fascinating to see this perspective given to the portions of New York City that were trapped in darkness, and an almost artistic representation of the time. One in which the lights are always on. One that is always bustling with people. When the lights went out it was wholly different.
