Nicolas Cage's son Weston hospitalized
(CBS) This sounds like a scene from a Nicolas Cage movie: Cage's son, Weston, a 20-year-old musician, was hospitalized Tuesday after getting into a fist fight with his personal trainer.
According to TMZ, the younger Cage and his trainer got into a fracas at a restaurant because the trainer told Cage he couldn't order a particular item on the menu. Cage attacked the trainer and the fight ended in the street (TMZ video shows Cage getting punched in the face - a lot).
Sources tell TMZ police arrived at the scene and Cage's son was taken to the hospital where he was kept for a mental evaluation. According to the L.A. Times, Nicolas Cage arrived at the hospital to be with his son.
In April, Nicolas Cage was arrested in New Orleans and charged with charged with disturbing the peace, domestic abuse battery and public drunkenness. Last month, police closed its investigation into that incident without pursuing the charges against Cage.
