New Toys From Microsoft, Intel and Mattel... They're Swell

The collaboration between Intel and Mattel first produced one of the best science toys around for kids, the QX3 Computer Microscope. Now they've come out with the Me2Cam, a little camera that attaches to a PC and magically makes kids a part of on-screen games...

"So their body movement actually controls all of the action inside the computer game."
Monique Sullivan of Mattel Interactive. The Me2Cam comes with software games for kids as young as four. They'll love seeing themselves floating inside a bubble on the computer screen. (sound) The price ...about 70 dollars and more Me2Cam software is on the way. What else are they making at Intel Play? A computer sound morpher...

"I can come over here and click on outerspace...and the computer sound morpher will warp my voice like I were in outerspace."

A digital video creator is on the way too. The Fisher Price division of Mattel, in the meantime, has partnered with Microsoft to create a high tech activity table for toddlers...the Intelli-Table....

"It's an activity table format and it covers three areas of educational content."

The Intelli-Table will be out this summer for about sixty dollars.
