The abs-baring "Jersey Shore" breakout star, who is expected to take home $5 million this year, has signed on to join the upcoming season of "Dancing with the Stars," according to E! Online.

"He's going to be the Kate Gosselin of the new season," a source close to the situation told E! "Minus the fact that we think people on set will probably like him."

Audrina Patridge of "The Hills," former Dallas Cowboy quarterback Troy Aikman, singer Brandy and "The Bachelorette" star Ali Fedotowsky and her fiance, Roberto Martinez are also reportedly set to compete on the show.

Tom Bergeron is expected to announce the entire Season 11 cast of "Dancing with the Stars" next Monday, Aug. 30, after ABC's "Bachelor Pad."
