Mike Harris

This is Mike Harris' third year as a reporter for CBS Sports' tournament coverage.

Harris served as a sideline reporter for CBS Sports' college football coverage (1997) and as reporter for the 1996 Sun Bowl on CBS, the Cotton Bowl and the NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Championship.

A 20-year broadcasting veteran, Harris worked as the morning drive sports anchor for WCBS Radio in New York from 1993-99. He has been an anchor/reporter for WCBS Radio since 1993, covering the U.S. Open Tennis Championships, the U.S. Open Golf Championship, the Stanley Cup Finals and the NBA Finals.

Harris joined ABC Radio Sports in St. Louis in 1981 and covered Major League Baseball, the NFL, college football, college basketball and the NHL. He joined the ABC Radio Network in 1987 as sports anchor, was a reporter for WNYW-TV in New York, and a reporter for SportsChannel's New Jersey Nets basketball and New York Mets baseball broadcasts (1995-96).

A graduate of Principia College (Elsah, Ill.), Harris was born Nov. 16, 1956. He lives in Plainfield, N.J., with his wife and two sons.
