(CBS/AP) Michelle Obama's girls won't be friending anyone on Facebook anytime soon - or ever, if she or the Secret Service have anything to say about it. Talk about a firewall!

The first lady says her daughters aren't on Facebook, and that's the way she likes it.

Mrs. Obama says her girls, Sasha, 9, and Malia, 12, have certain restrictions that other children don't have because of Secret Service security issues. But she also said during an interview on NBC on Wednesday that she's "not a big fan of young kids having Facebook."

While her husband, President Barack Obama is Internet savvy and maintains a presence on all platforms, the first lady is logging off on this Facebook issue for now.

Even if the girls weren't living in the White House, Mrs. Obama says Facebook is "not something they need." Maybe when they get older, she added.
