McCain Mines California for Cash

(CBS)
From CBS News' John Bentley:

(PHOENIX) – It's not only the most populous state in the union, it's also the one that's given the most money to presidential contenders. That's why John McCain is heading to California this morning, making fundraising stops in Bakersfield and San Francisco today.

Presidential candidates have raised more than $112 million in California so far this campaign season – more than any other state – although donations to Barack Obama are almost double what McCain has received (which is not surprising, considering Obama holds more than a 10 point lead in most polls there).

After California, McCain heads to Reno, Nevada, for a town hall meeting there Tuesday morning, before traveling to other battleground states later in the week to continue discussing his economic plan.
