Mario Is Ready To "Go"

R&B singer Mario is only 20 years old, but he's already on his third album. "Go," out July 31, will reflect a new maturity, according to Mario.

"Over the years in this industry, I feel like I've grown to a point where I'm comfortable in my own skin, and this album truly reflects that," he said in a statement. "'Go' is sexier and more passionate, but there's another, more personal side to the album as well."

The album's lead single, "How Do I Breathe," is a ballad that will be released to radio on April 30. "Go" also includes the song "Do Right," about Mario's struggle to overcome a difficult childhood as the son of a drug-addicted mother.

Mario released his self-titled first album at the age of 15 in 2002. Two years later he returned with the double platinum "Turning Point" which featured the megahit "Let Me Love You."

The song held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for five weeks and earned him two Grammy nominations and two Billboard awards.

He's also tested the waters as an actor, appearing in the movies "Freedom Writers" and "Step Up."
