Man charged with burning kittens "and throwing them against a wall for fun"

MILFORD, Mass. — Police say a man killed multiple kittens while living in a camper on a farm in Massachusetts, reports CBS Boston.

The owners of the farm called police after Miguel Medina allegedly stole from and threatened the family. After police arrived, the family told the officers they believed Medina had also killed multiple kittens, according to a police report.

One woman showed officers text messages from Medina saying he had killed two kittens, according to the police report. Another man said he was taken to the camper by Medina and shown the bodies of multiple cats.

"I had other kittens but one bit my favorite kitten, so I threw that kitten against the wall and then I put it under a table," Medina allegedly told the man.

Police said Medina admitted to burning one kitten and "killing a couple a week for fun when he was bored."

Medina was charged with two counts killing/maiming an animal and one count of animal cruelty.
