Love Note Written In Own Blood
John Phipps knows he is a lucky man.
Phipps was involved in last week's commuter train crash on the outskirts of Los Angeles which killed 11 people, including two in the same car John Phipps was in.
Phipps was buried in the wreckage, bleeding, but had the presence of mind to leave what could have been a last message for his wife and kids.
He used his own blood to scrawl a note telling them he loves them.
Phipps survived to dwescibe the moment.
