NEW YORK (CBS) A Canadian woman accused of slashing Leonardo DiCaprio with a broken beer bottle has been ordered to stay at least 500 yards away from the actor.

Los Angeles station KTLA reports that 40-year-old Aretha Wilson is accused of assaulting the "Inception" star five years ago at a party in the home of Paris Hilton's ex-boyfriend, movie producer Rick Saloman.

According to the station, DiCaprio suffered cuts and bruises to his face and needed about a dozen stitches to close severe gashes in his face and ear.

After the 2005 attack Wilson fled to Canada. She was extradited back to the States last week to face charges of assault with a deadly weapon.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Hilleri G. Merritt ordered her arraignment for Aug. 11.

DiCaprio is said to be prepared to testify against Wilson if necessary, according to TMZ.

KTLA reports Merritt raised Wilson's bail from $60,000 to $150,000.
