NEW YORK (CBS/AP) Larry King's seventh wife, Shawn Southwick, was hospitalized in late May after an apparent drug overdose.

Emergency medical workers were called to Southwick's home in Provo, Utah, on May 28.

Her father, Karl Engemann, dialed 911 after finding the 50-year-old in her bed, breathing but not responding when he tried to wake her.

"She may have overmedicated," Engemnann said in the 911 call, which was obtained by RadarOnline. "I don't think she did it on purpose. Last night she seemed confused about what she had taken, the last time she had taken it."

Engemann later insisted to dispatchers that his daughter was taking the medication for "something to help with her anxiety and her depression," and not attempting suicide.

King's spokesman, Howard Rubinstein, told the Associate Press that Southwick is in good shape and enjoying her life.

Back in April, King and Southwick filed for divorce after 12 years of marriage. Shortly after, divorce proceedings were put on hold as the two reconciled. King, 76, recently released a statement saying their marriage is still together.

The couple have two sons together: Cannon, 9 and Chance, 11.
