Kris Humphries against a speedy divorce from Kim Kardashian

Looks like Kim Kardashian will have the married status for a little while longer.

Although the pregnant reality star wants to put an end to her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries, the basketball player apparently feels differently. Humprhies' lawyer says Kardashian's surprise pregnancy has put an unfair bias on the legal proceedings.

"What is really going on here is that an 'urgency' in the form of an apparently unplanned pregnancy, something the Respondent had nothing to do with, is perceived by Plaintiff as an opportunity to gain a litigation advantage by trying to force this court to prematurely set this matter for trial," Humphries' attorney Marshall Waller said in a filing obtained by E! News.

Humphries, 28, has said to be looking to annul the marriage, citing fraud.

"What are they hiding?" Waller noted. "What is there in the raw footage of this televised courtship, 72-day marriage and resultant breakup that they are so afraid of us discovering?"

Kardashian's lawyer, meanwhile, says the star is "handcuffed" to Humphries.

In a recent interview with David Letterman, Kardashian said, "I can't speak for Kris, but I just want him to be happy and I want us to move on, and that's really what I want, is just to move on."

A hearing on the matter is scheduled for Feb. 15.

Kardashian, 31, filed for divorce from Kris on Oct. 31, 2011, 72 days after they exchanged vows.

She and her new beau, Kanye West, 35, are expecting their first child together in July.
