In a karaoke bar at 2 a.m. or on a TV talk show set, the open mic is generally more foe than friend.
Video: Its latest prey is Jesse Jackson. His crude comments about Barack Obama were delivered in a whisper and not meant for broadcast. But judging by the reaction, the only thing that should be "cut off" is Jackson's access to a live microphone.
