Jolie-Pitt Brood Could Reach Double Digits

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been vocal in the past about wanting more children. But just how many children are they planning on having?

"It fluctuates between seven and 13 and 14," Jolie told Jon Stewart on "The Daily Show" Thursday.

The actress, who was on the show to talk about her new drama "A Mighty Heart," told Stewart that although raising four children (Maddox, 5, Pax, 3, Zahara, 2, and Shiloh, 1) is no easy task, they're up for having many more bundles of joy.

"Four (kids) is kind of kicking our ass, but we kind of feel like we're up for the challenge," she said.

For his part, Stewart said two kids was kicking his ass, which prompted laughs from the audience.

When asked how life is treating her in general, Jolie replied, "I'm great. I've got a big, crazy, happy family and I'm used to chaos, and I'm very lucky."

Stewart also asked Jolie about the controversy that erupted on Thursday when news surfaced that Jolie's reps asked reporters to sign a contract that stated they would not ask her any personal questions during interviews.

Jolie said the contract came via her representatives and that it wasn't mandatory. Stewart said that he hadn't been presented with such a contract or signed anything in order to interview her for his show.

"Well, I think people are always looking for, unfortunately, the most negative story, but there was a memo that went out to ask people if they would sign it, that said, focus, don't get into personal questions," she said. "Focus on the movie and things like that. It was not mandatory, I didn't put it out there, it was from my representatives trying to be protective of me but it was excessive and I didn't put it out there. But it's alright and nobody was forced to do it. "

Jolie said that she and her family will soon head back to Prague where she is filming a movie.
