Jennifer Garner talks new film, life with Ben, and mom role

(CBS News) Jennifer Garner joined "CBS This Morning" on Thursday to talk about her new film, "The Odd Life of Timothy Green."

In the movie, Garner plays a small town wife who gave up on her dream to have a child - only to find a small and unusual boy pop up up in her life unexpectedly. It was Garner's first time playing a mom on-screen told Gayle King about the importance of this specific role.

"It feels like I'm exposing something that's very intimate...I absolutely was dying to play this role," she gushed.

Garner also talked about the newest addition to her and husband's Ben Affleck's brood. The actress recently gave birth to the couple's third child and first son.

"I come from three sisters so I couldn't help but imagine my kids being three sisters. At the same time, I am so nuts about my husband," she said and added that Ben thinks she is different with her son, "He thinks I'm even, you know, more enamored."

She just turned 40-years-old, but still proclaimed herself to be a cougar just four months older than Affleck.
