Jennifer Aniston: Laughing Out Loud

Jennifer Aniston stars opposite Jim Carrey in the new movie "Bruce Almighty," a comedy that has Carrey endowed with God's powers.

The Early Show correspondent Hattie Kauffman sat down with Aniston to talk about playing opposite "God."

In the movie, Bruce (Carrey) suddenly has God's power to change anything, as his girlfriend, Grace, realizes when she discovers she is a bit top-heavier.

"It is laugh-out-loud funny," says Aniston. "I actually stood up, bent over, laughed and sat back down."

She says she had only recently seen the final cut of Jim Carrey's performance, and she loved what she saw.

What would Aniston do if she had the power of God?

"Ha, oh peace on earth. Is that too cheesy," she laughs. "Peace on earth and educate all the children. Of course I'm going to eliminate the paparazzi … watch them tortured."

Aniston may be targeting the paparazzi because they have targeted her. She sued one magazine for printing topless photos of her. But her face, paired with husband Brad Pitt, sells thousands of magazines.

Aniston says she doesn't believe the public cares about celebrity lives; it's the media that creates the frenzy about famous people.

"They do a very good job of making people think they care about it," she says.

But many women between the ages of 15 to 35 may be interested in knowing a bit more about her husband.

Aniston says she doesn't think about being married to Pitt, the handsome movie star.

"We don't sit there going, 'Oh my God. I can't believe I'm with the sexiest man alive.' I think he is, but I'm not sitting there with his resume of personal perks," she laughs. "We are very normal."

Currently Aniston is one of the stars of the NBC hit television series, "Friends." She says she is not sure what project she will take on after the end of the show.

"Definitely not another television show," she says. "I think that would be silly to try to follow this with something else."

Aniston's next film will also be a comedy. It stars Ben Stiller, Hank Azaria and Debra Messing. It is untitled, but Aniston says she'll be doing some dirty dancing.
