Islam Memo: French President Escaped Assassination Attempt At Ben Gurion Airport

A Saudi Internet website called Islam Memo said Russia's Federal Security Service reported that French President Nicolas Sarkozy "narrowly escaped" an assassination attempt at Ben Gurion airport in Israel. The article said the attack left one French security officer and one Israeli policeman dead. There's been some speculation on the Internet about the death of an Israeli solider during Sarkozy's farewell ceremony at the airport on June 24. Israel said the soldier had committed suicide.
